inTerra’s Geotechnical Product Line is comprised of base products that can be modified and/or enhanced to meet project specifications and project and performance expectations for a diverse array of ground improvement techniques and other geotechnical applications. inTerra’s product development team will source optimized product components, engineer a mix design, provide project submittals and conduct internal quality control and quality assurance, before during and after delivery of its products. We are committed to meeting specified physical properties and performance requirements on every project.
Service Capability
inTerra is a high shift volume material provider, however, will accommodate for intricate low shift volume as required. inTerra’s on-site production technique utilizing mobile mixers, mobile silos and other ancillary equipment will allow for continuous, uninterrupted delivery of volumes as required for your project with virtually unlimited shift volume capacity.
inTerra’s team will be solely dedicated to your project eliminating the likelihood of loss-of-production associated with waiting for traditional material delivery and the direct costs associated with loss-of-efficiency and overtime hours. inTerra also has the capability to bundle pumping services along with its product delivery for a turnkey scope of services.
inTerra provides products for the following types of projects:

Meeting Project Specifications and Exceeding Customer Expectations
iPile4000/5000 is an engineered high strength sanded grout inclusive of performance enhancing additives. Each product is pump-able at long distances, both vertically and horizontally, within confined spaces and will achieve 4,000psi or 5,000psi within 28-days. iPile4000/5000 can be enhanced to displace existing water within saturated areas of placement whilst maintaining its composition. The properties and performance of this product can be tailored, as required to meet project specifications.
Common Use
Soil Stabilization and Ground Improvement. Rigid Inclusions. Horizontal grouting for ground improvement.
iPFC-Grout4000/5000 is an engineered high strength fine and coarse aggregate grout inclusive of performance enhancing additives. Each product is pump-able at long distances, both vertically and horizontally, within confined spaces and will achieve 4,000psi or 5,000psi within 28-days. iPFC-Grout4000/5000 can be enhanced to displace existing water within saturated areas of placement whilst maintaining its composition. The properties and performance of this product can be tailored, as required to meet project specifications.
Common Use
Soil Stabilization and Ground Improvement. Rigid Inclusions. Horizontal grouting for ground improvement.
Compaction Grout
Compaction Grout is an engineered product consisting of sand, silt and cement or sand, fly-ash and cement dependent upon the end user’s specification and/or material availability. Compaction Grout is designed to maintain its composition once pumped into the sub-surface as required to displace and densify the in-situ soils. inTerra’s computerized mobile mix technique allows for live time adjustments to accommodate for consistent slump and strength performance as required when utilizing fluctuating natural aggregate components as are common for compaction grout. inTerra’s compaction grout is typically delivered into the pump within a slump range of 0-2-inches and compressive strength targets between 200psi-1,000psi at 28-days. The properties and performance of this product can be tailored, as required to meet project specifications.
Common Use
Soil Stabilization and Ground Improvement
Shotcrete
Shotcrete is a mixture of aggregate, Portland cement and water that is sprayed onto surfaces at high velocity. It is batched into a pump and transferred through delivery lines to a nozzle where compressed air is added to aid in the dispersion and projection on to the surface to be covered. Admixtures are often used in the mix to help with adhesion, build and set times. These can be added either at the point of mixing or at the nozzle. inTerra’s mobile mixers are ideal for the production of this material as the batching can be matched to the rate of application. Additionally, the ability to continuously adjust the mix properties allows for exceptional control over the material during the application.
Common Use
Shotcrete is typically used in geotechnical applications in conjunction with soil nails for the construction of temporary excavation support and permanent walls.
TerraBent
TerraBent is an engineered product designed specifically as a pre-trench backfill for slurry wall projects, to be re-excavated with minimal impact to the trench walls that will host the guide walls. TerraBent is designed to be excavated similar to clay such that only the area of excavation is disturbed while the trench walls of the excavation remain undisturbed, in their matrix. inTerra’s computerized mobile mix technique allows for live time adjustments to accommodate for consistent slump and strength performance as required when utilizing fluctuating natural aggregate components as are common for slurry wall backfill and to adjust for weather and site conditions such as high water table at the area of placement.
Common Use
Pre-trench backfill for slurry wall foundation projects.
iLCC
iLCC (inTerra’s Lightweight Cellular Concrete) is a low-density, highly flowable concrete product that is produced by combining cementitious products and in some cases aggregates with pre-formed cellular foam. iLCC is produced at densities ranging from 20 to 120 pounds per cubic foot and compressive strengths ranging from 20 to 3,000 psi. This material is self-leveling, and will achieve a bearing capacity that is greater than compacted fill. In applications where drainage or reduced buoyancy forces are required, special foaming agents can be used to render iLCC as a permeable concrete.
iLCC can be delivered off the chute and used as a light-weight backfill, generally 25-35 PCF for load relief in a mass fill, open void scenario, or due to the high-flow characteristics of iLCC it can be pumped over long distances at very low pressures.
Common Use
Backfill for areas requiring load.
