Controlled Low Strength Material (“CLSM”)
Flowable Fill is an engineered backfill consisting of sand, fluidizing agent, water and cementitious materials. inTerra’s flowable fill is self-leveling, self-compacting and will achieve maximum density in its initial set, allowing for same-shift surface restoration. Our product will eliminate the possibility of trench settlement and the costly repairs associated with cracking, heaving and pot-holes.
Common Use
Backfilling utility trenches within roadways.
TerraFill is a proprietary engineered backfill designed specifically for long distance pumping applications. Standard flowable fill is not designed to be pumped and is infamous for jamming concrete pumps and hoses. TerraFill is the solution for mass fills or backfilling applications where the area of placement is not accessible by a delivery truck.
Common Use
Backfilling foundations, large diameter voids and miscellaneous mass fill scenarios.
TerraBent is an engineered backfill designed specifically as a pre-trench backfill for slurry wall projects, to be re-excavated with minimal impact to the trench that will host the guide walls. TerraBent is designed to be excavated similar to clay such that only the area of excavation is disturbed while the trench walls of the excavation remains in their matrix.
Common Use
Pre-trench backfill for slurry wall foundation projects
iGrout is an engineered backfill that will flow like a liquid and cure into a solid. iGrout is designed to be very-pump-able at long distances without segregating or settling, even upon encountering water. iGrout will flow through tight annulus spaces through which flowable fill or TerraFill will not.
Common Use
Pipe abandonment and annulus space void filling
