inTerra’s Lightweight Cellular Concrete (iLCC) is a low-density, highly flowable concrete product that is produced by combining cementitious products and in some cases aggregates with pre-formed cellular foam. iLCC is produced at densities ranging from 20 to 120 pounds per cubic foot and compressive strengths ranging from 20 to 3,000 psi. This material is self-leveling, and will achieve a bearing capacity that is greater than compacted fill. In applications where drainage or reduced buoyancy forces are required, special foaming agents can be used to render iLCC as a permeable concrete.
iLCC can be delivered off the chute and used as a light-weight backfill for load relief in a mass fill, open void scenario, or due to the high-flow characteristics of iLCC it can be pumped over long distances at very low pressures, making it ideal for filling the annular space between liner pipes and host pipes on slip-lining projects or other similar installations.
iGrout
iGrout is a proprietary cementitious product that is specifically designed to be pumped over long distances without segregating or settling. iGrout was designed for annulus space grouting and pipe abandonment installations. iGrout has a unit weight that is greater than that of water, thus will displace any water encountered during installation. iGrout can be installed through running water when it is present within the annulus due to groundwater entry through the host pipe resulting from deterioration or displaced joints. This highly-flowable product is designed to minimize the heat generated during hydration which is a critical factor in slip-line and other annulus space grouting installations.
Thermal Grout
inTerra is a national, full scope, self-performing thermal grouting contractor producing our own products with our own equipment. Our thermal grout is designed primarily to achieve a low thermal resistivity as dictated by high voltage cable manufacturers and electric utilities. However, our thermal grout must be pump-able over long distances without segregating or settling and cannot damage, crush, melt or otherwise compromise the system around which it is filling. inTerra’s product will optimize heat dissipation and will eliminate the common failures associated with thermal grouting.
Compaction Grout
inTerra is a national producer of compaction grout otherwise known as low mobility grout. Our product is pump-able, low slump and will maintain its composition as required to displace and densify the in situ soils below the surface. Our fleet of mobile mixers allows us to service low production as well as high volume projects. Whether it be 10 cubic yards or 200+ cubic yards in a shift, inTerra is the solution for providing compaction grout material for your project.
